British Punk Royalty To Hit The Road – 26th January – 17th February 2018

Following an epic appearance at British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park on Saturday 1 July, The Damned have today announced a massive ‘Evil Spirits’ UK tour, which is set to rock venues across the country from 26th January – 17th February 2018, including a date at the London 02 Forum. Hot off the success of their 40th Anniversary tour in the USA, fans will experience the band’s raw, primal and macabre energy first-hand in some truly intimate venues, up close and personal with punk’s original connoisseurs.
With no shortage of pioneering hits, Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Monty Oxymoron, Pinch and Stu West will ensure that The Damned’s 2018 UK tour will electrify fans all around the nation. Fans should expect blistering performances of the likes of the immortal ‘New Rose’ – recently voted the ‘Best Punk Song Ever’ by Kerrang! Magazine – and defiant classics ‘Neat Neat Neat’, ‘Love Song’, ‘Smash It Up’, and much more.

Formed in 1976, The Damned were the first British punk band to commercially release both a single and an album, as well as take their music Stateside, with their first US voyage taking place in 1977. They are the originators of the goth punk movement and have inspired countless numbers of bands that have gone on to see huge success. Selling millions of albums over four decades, The Damned’s 2018 UK tour will see the band revisit their classics with their trademark ferocity at venues across the country.
