On the strength of seeing Helloween a couple of years ago dominating Hard Rock Hell 4 in Prestatyn, I jumped on a train and travelled down to London to catch them again on their Hellish Rock Part 2 with fellow countrymen Gamma Ray supporting them for another dose of power metal.

A cold Saturday night sees me standing outside the sold out O2 ABC venue in Glasgow to witness what was originally the last date on Wilko Johnson’s Farewell tour, but due to demand to see the Canvey Island bluesman one final time
Legendary performer and the hardest working guitarist in the business, Joe Satriani confirms the release of his 14th studio album, “Unstoppable Momentum” in the UK on Monday May 6 (U.S. release is Tuesday May 7) through Epic Records/Sony Music UK. The album was recorded at Skywalker Sound in San Francisco and was produced by Satriani and Mike Fraser (AC/DC).
