  1. I can understand that most voters confused the word “Best” with the word “Successful” by voting the album “Once”. But I am honestly very curious about the reasons someone would vote “Century Child” as best album over “Wishmaster” or “Angels Fall First”

  2. Dark Passion Play is their most successful album in terms of sales figures. I agree with you in thinking Wishmaster is superior to Century Child although I gotta say Angels Fall First is seriously hit and miss IMO.

I really like it better. :) I think Marco was the best thing to ever happen to Nightwish and that’s clear on Century Child. Also, from the three first albums I would still prefer Oceanborn. :)

Angels Fall First is a quite crappy album, in my opinion, and there are really few things I like about it. It has an amateurish sound and I don’t like the folk elements. Wishmaster is a good album, but the power metal influences are too strong to make this album my favourite – despite great songs as Dead Boys Poem, Come Cover Me and Deep Silent Complete. I prefer Century Child over both Wishmaster and Angels Fall First. Some of its songs are hauntingly beautiful and there’s really nothing that I dislike with this album.
