BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR FESTIVAL is proud to announce it has been nominated in several categories in this year’s UK Festival Awards.

The Awards voting is open to the public, so skip on over to www.festivalawards.com/vote to cast your ballot for your metal brethren, who are up against lots of mainstream competition.

You can also vote for Machine Head‘s landmark Saturday headline set at this year’s Bloodstock, in the ‘Headline Performance of the Year‘ category, or for Watain’s Friday night performance.

The Top 10 shortlist will be announced on Monday 5th November, so be sure to get your votes in as soon as possible in order to avoid missing the deadline.  The final winners will be announced at the UK Festival Awards, which takes place at London’s Roundhouse on Monday 3rd December.

BLOODSTOCK recently announced three new additions to 2013′s festival bill, with German metal overlords ACCEPT and Greek powermetal kings, FIREWIND being added to the Friday bill, and the Chris Jericho-fronted FOZZY rocking up Sunday’s line-up alongside previously-announced special guests, ANTHRAX.
