Listening to this latest four track live EP that comes out  February 14th 2014 released by Nuclear Blast Records  took me back to the night I met this magical Blues/Rock band in Nuneaton in November 2013, they absolutely took everyone there by storm, and I,m sure they gathered in yet more fans and followers on the night. But now with this new release recorded live at the Rockpalast ( a German music television show ) you get a chance to feel what it was like to be there! Again Elin and the guy’s execute a phenomenal performance holding nothing back they give you an ectoplasmic explosion of emotions! Dorian Sorriaux on lead guitar is just one of the most magical and accomplished blues players I,ve seen and heard. I,ve already compared him to Eric Clapton, which isn’t fair to Dorian to be honest as this guy is a true original of epic proportions and he’s only 19! He just glides through the songs with the grace of a swan on the surface, while his fingers are working feverishly strumming his six string lover. Then we have step brothers Cory Berry on the drums and Zack Anderson on bass, these two guys work together to produce a sound and beat what can only be described as an absolute consummation of strings and skins. Having witnessed them in action their close family connection must be a factor in the way they can communicate in musical harmony, a flawless performance every time. As for Elin Larsson the vocalist, she is just plain and simply outstanding!! With tone perfect delivery she takes total control of the stage as soon as she starts to sing, you can’t help but listen in amazement to her herculean voice as she sings every song with the same commitment whether it be to a crowd of twenty or two thousand!!

Each track on the new EP will be worth every penny of your money! From ‘In The Beginning ‘ a brilliant feast of musical blues piety, the intro to an EP full of the best of blues rock. Through the dark lyrics of the fascinating ‘Black Smoke ‘ with a varied tempo and a master class in blues rock with a twist of ( dare I say ‘Jazz feel’? ). Then you go to the deep emotions of ‘Little Sun ‘ culminating in the musical epilogue that is ‘Mind Exit ‘.

It’s yet another great EP from this very young band who appear to have found the elusive ‘One Thing ‘ needed to produce stunning track after track! If these two EP’s ‘Devil Man‘ and now Live At Rockpalast‘ are just the beginning, I can’t wait for the first full album. It will be a true collectors item along with albums like ‘Dustbowl’ by Joe Bonamassa, ‘Still Got The Blues ‘ by Garry Moore and ‘Blues ‘ by Jimmy Hendrix.
