Carousel Vertigo confirm Hard Rock Hell; New Single ‘3rd Degree’

Carousel Vertigo play the best music you haven’t heard yet but already love, and has confirmed its appearance at Hard Rock Hell on Saturday November Nov 14th.

The band joins a bill that already includes Blue Oyster Cult, Michael Schenker, Y&T, Diamond Head and Vardis in North Wales for the 8th Hard Rock Festival between November 13th and 15th.  The band has also been added to festival line-ups across Europe during 2014.

On May 12th, Carousel Vertigo release the brilliant single ‘3rd Degree’ which clearly demonstrates an unapologetic affection for old-school hard rock.  The song has already been A-listed at radio stations from TotalRock to BFBS.

The electrifying verve with which Carousel Vertigo attack the joyously simplistic ‘3rd Degree’ makes the song an honest and brazen delight. Huge, priapic riffs collide with a gleefully told tale and an instantly memorable chorus. It demands to be played at life-threatening volume.  Feel the heat now with the ‘3rd Degree’ video:

‘3rd Degree’, was co-written by Status Quo bassman John ‘Rhino’ Edwards and is the second single taken from CV’s barnstorming and acclaimed ten-track, full-length debut album ‘MIGHTY’ (Molano Music).

Carousel Vertigo are the real deal; a vital, dual lead guitar-driven hard rock band, over-flowing with heartfelt, instinctive blues-laden rock ‘n’ roll that will resonate with any genuine music fan.

Carousel Vertigo combine the most thrilling elements of ‘70s rock bands like Humble Pie, Cheap Trick, Grand Funk Railroad, Free, early Aerosmith and Bon Scott-era AC/DC, and rework these influences to create stunning, classy and original rock ‘n’ roll that grips the listener from the very first hearing and simply refuses to let go. Meanwhile, the band’s rocked-up take on Leon Russell’s oft-covered blues jewel ‘Help Me Through The Day’ re-maps the song both musically and vocally.

Carousel Vertigo is built around the twin guitars of American francophone Jansen Press and Parisian Vincent Martinez, who also provides the powerful expressive vocals.

With the band touring the UK during May, prepare yourself to be knocked out by the sheer sonic impact of hearing these two brilliant fret masters mesh their different yet complementary playing styles to create a unique, incendiary blend of rocked out rhythms and sublime, scorching solos.

Carousel Vertigo have left critics floored with ‘MIGHTY’ and their live show will slay you, too. An unashamedly gruff and primal rock ‘n’ roll band dominated by the scabrous bellow, they always deliver an absolute kick-ass show. See you down front.

If you don’t like CV, you don’t like rock ‘n’ roll.
