British metal band, Collapse have unveiled their new frontman today. The band released the following statement:
‘As we said back in April, Duncan has recently been suffering from a throat problem which he has been seeking medical help for. We’ve taken the hard decision between us that Duncan is going to step aside as vocalist, to focus on his recovery. Being a founding member of the band, the hard work and dedication that Duncan has shown for the last three years has been a great example of what can be achieved with a will to succeed. We’re all extremely grateful for the energy and effort that Duncan has put into building the band from the ground up.
The eagle eyed among you may have noticed a new face around in the interim. Jamie Bennett (formerly of Echoes Fall) has been helping us out with our live commitments. So, ladies and gentlemen, we’re honoured to introduce to you, our new vocalist, Jamie.’
