Summary:

Based on the quality of this EP then surely it's only a matter of time before they play festivals like Rockingham or even Download.

4 shots is the debut EP from Collateral. While the band have been around for a few years, initially as the Angelo Tristan band before changing the name to collateral, it’s only this year that they released their debut single, “Midnight queen”, and they’re now following that up with their debut EP – “4 shots”.

The release of “Midnight queen” definitely raised the band’s profile and when you listen to it and the other songs on this EP it’s easy to see why. Check it out here..

This really is a superb debut EP. If you were to listen to it without knowing who the band was, your first guess wouldnt be that it’s a small band – you’re more likely to assume it’s from a band that plays arenas or stadiums. I’d compare it to classic Bon Jovi (as opposed to the dull and disappointing current day Bon Jovi), but with a hint of Aerosmith (check out the background screams in “Angels crying” – very like Steven Tyler’s vocals).

If they were to be booked to play Rockingham festival I can see Collateral going down a storm with the fans there. Based on the quality of this EP then surely it’s only a matter of time before they play festivals like Rockingham or even Download.

An EP that I’d definitely recommend you listen to.
