‘Wait Forever’ is the third single to be taken from Destine’s sophomore effort, ‘Illuminate’ which was released earlier this year. An excellent slab of pop punk perfection, this track showcases the songwriting talent that has made them one of Holland’s biggest musical exports. Laurens Troost (Keyboards/Vocals) talks about the video;
“We shot our new video in a big warehouse in the Netherlands and it was freezing cold. Luckily dancing keeps you warm! Don’t wait too long to do something good for somebody else. Before you know, it is too late.”
DESTINE have toured and played shows worldwide with the likes of Paramore, Green Day, All Time Low, Mayday Parade and 30 Seconds To Mars, and also had their track ‘In Your Arms’ (taken from their debut ‘Lightspeed’) feature on the video game ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 2011’, which enlarged their global fanbase and sold millions worldwide.
In March 2012 the band also released a DVD, documenting their lives on the road and behind the scenes in 2011 called ‘FOOTPRINTS: a year in the life’.
