Evil Scarecrow added to the Wacken lineup

Evil Scarecrow have been added to the bill at Wacken Festival for 2017, joining such luminaries as Amon Amarth, Kreator, Trivium, Lacuna Coil, Paradise Lost, Candlemass, Orange Goblin, Europe, Marilyn Manson and many more.

Wacken is one of the most renown metal festivals in the world and annually sees a pilgrimage from metalheads in the UK to its hallowed grounds, people who will quickly be able to school the European Festival crowds in the moves, dances, shouty bits and unique lunacy of an Evil Scarecrow audience!

Quote from Dr Hell:
“We’re so freakishly excited to be bringing our show to the legendary Wacken Festival in 2017. In fact, I am not entirely sure that it has sunk in! Every good metal human knows that Wacken is a global metal institution and the opportunity to play such a historic festival is beyond an honour for us.
We will be dragging our full stage show across the English Channel and through Europe in a variety of questionable quality white vans. So, if you see some broken down tour buses on the Autobahn unloading a giant space robot and thumbing a lift, then beep your horn and give us a wave (or a lift would be even better). We’ll also be bringing our terrible pigeon German and learning the words for “crab”, “anti-gravity machine” and “eggs”.
So, break out the tin foil, raise your krabbenklauen high and prepare for the stupidest band to have ever hitchhiked to a festival.”

After their fabulously mad metal performances across the UK over the past few years, including Download & Bloodstock mainstage, all getting huge crowds robototroning, crabuloning and hurricanadoing like crazy, Evil Scarecrow announce their tour dates for the start of 2017 and beyond, including their first ever performance at WACKEN. Europe may not quite know what to expect, but damn they’re going to have a whole lot of fun finding out what the true Evil Scarecrow experience is!
