Festivals 2015, Rock and Metal Festivals Poll?

With the New Year of Twenty Fifteen on our doorsteps, days are lengthening, nights are growing shorter and festival organisers are trickle feeding the metallian populus with lineup appetisers. It is now time for heavy metallers and rock fans from all over the world to begin the annual hatching of plans for 2015’s Rock and Metal festival pilgrimage. Tents will be patched, boots will be dusted off, beer funds shall be amassed, friends will sign up, Sun cream will be forgotten, waterproofs will be forgotten, flights will be booked, buses organised, stupid essential camping gadgets procured and the tickets will be bought (on a foreign language website), all in the name of Heavy Metal.

Here at PlanetMosh we covered a myriad of festivals last year from Sonisphere to Download and Hellfest to Wacken (via Les-Fest and many others). We asked our staff to come up with a list of events taking place in 2015 that they want to go to and we decided to put them all into a little poll to see what the PlanetMosh Public will be doing.

Here is our selection of festivals* to choose from.

Which festival  or festivals are you proudly donning your carefully faded battle jacket to in 2015?
Have your say in the PlanetMosh Poll featured below.

*There are many rock and metal festivals each year all over the world.  We cannot include every single festival in our poll as the list of festivals would require a website of it’s own BUT if there is one that you really feel needs to be added to our developing list, please comment below the post and we will do our best to include your festival.

Thanks to everyone for taking part and we look forward to seeing what you guys vote for.

  1. I voted for the ones I’ll be “vicariously attending” (by virtue of being located outside the UK/continental Europe). Easy enough! :)

  2. Our team from Rock Against Child Pornography And Abuse ( RACPAUK ) charity will be at some of the above festivals including Beermageddon, Les Fest and the awesome Rockin’ For The Children which is not to be missed. 2 days of awesome live music hosted by the awesome Big D with all proceeds going to charity … bank holiday May weekend Nottingham at The Maze!!
