The release date of the vinyl edition of HALLOWEEN´s “Victims Of The Night” is the October 26, 2012 – in time for the tour of the US Metal veterans in October/November 2012. The edition is limited to 500 pieces (100 silver-grey, 400 black) and will be released in gatefold, handnumbered and with OBI.
The new album “Terrortory” by the Horror Metal veterans from Detroit was released at the beginning of this year. Now it is time to release something from the band’s earlier works. “Victims of the Night” was originally released in 1997 by Molten Metal Productions and was only available on CD (also rereleased by Pure Steel two years ago), so now it is more than overdue to release this gem on “black gold”, aka vinyl. It is adorned by a gatefold-cover and limited to 500 copies (400 black, 100 silver-grey vinyls).
“Victims of the Night” was recorded in 1986 at the Old School House in Ann Arbor, Michigan/USA. But the band did not have a record contract, so the recordings were put on the shelf for ten years. The songs remind a little of their debut album “Don’t Metal with Evil”, but the arrangement is a bit more complex. The production is typically 80s with a crystal-clear sound and features some of the bands catchiest tunes. The LP will also contain the bonus tracks of the CD version: “Come and Get it”, “Victims of the Night” in an alternative version, and “Halloween Night”.
A must have for all fans of this cult-band!
