BRIT ROCK ‘N ROLLERS ARE POISED TO MAKE THEIR MARK AS THEY DROP THEIR DEBUT RECORD ‘SEROTONIN STORM’, OUT MONDAY 15th OCTOBER VIA ALL GOOD STORES.
Sparking glowing comparisons to Muse and Arctic Monkeys, through to RHCP and even Queen, In Search Of Fire unleash a barrage of explosive riffs, a hefty rhythm section, and memorable vocals that infectiously burrow through your cranium. In Search Of Fire are primed to release their own stamp of Rock ‘N Roll to the masses this Autumn.
In Search Of Fire were born in Chatham at the foot of the year, however the seeds of the band were sown back in school when Anthony Vandongen (Rhythm Guitar) and bassist Connor O’Connell started to jam together, hashing out covers. When they met Andy Malet (Vocals, Lead Guitar, and chief song-writing), the trio rapidly began to gel. And soon after, the drafting of old friend and beat-smith Rob Dowsett (Drums) suitably completed the line-up.
The freshly-formed foursome soon surged forward and began to construct their live set. After many painstaking rehearsals, In Search Of Fire shaped an original sound and now possess a collection of songs that bring together a pool of both modern and contemporary influences, from the dynamics and intricacies of Muse, to the old-school groove of Led Zeppelin, right through to the modern day swagger and guile of Oasis. The band have now extensively played throughout the South East and have snagged supports with ‘The Wombats’ and ‘Missing Andy’ in passing.
In Search Of Fire now press on with the national release of their enthralling debut record ‘Serotonin Storm’. The EP features six killer tracks, from the twisty and engaging rhythms of ‘Indie Rock n’ Roller’ to the off-kilter ballsy beatings of ‘Dead Men’s Eyes’. ISOF have undoubtedly served up an impressive debut record that is sure to garner national praise.
