Summary:

A fantastic album you really need to listen to.

We keep hearing that rock is dead, and maybe the days of it being a way for bands to make lots of money are over, but rock is most certainly not dead – just look how many great young bands there are around as proof. One such band is King Creature – probably a new name to most of you, but they’re a band who sound bigger and better than many more established bands.

The band were chosen by Lemmy to open for Motorhead at the Eden Sessions in St Austell in 2015 – Motorhead’s last UK gig. Since then the band have supported Megadeth, Hellyeah and Down and played festivals including Hard Rock Hell, Boardmasters and Winter’s end. Signed to Marshall records, their debut album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios and has been produced by Rob Cass who has worked with Brian May, Slash, Jack Bruce, Bernie Marsden and more.

Check out the video for their first single, “Lowlife”..

It’s a fantastic album – the vocals are really good and remind me of Alice in Chains, while the guitar playing is even better – strong riffs and a nice heavy sound. The songs are all well written, and they sound seriously good. This is a band I think we’ll be hearing a lot more from in the next few years.

An album you really need to listen to.

“Volume one” is out now.
