LECHEROUS NOCTURNE – BEHOLD ALMIGHTY DOCTRINE

400426_369365549800719_1028778023_nThe first thing I want to say this album is not my favourite album. Some songs are good but the most songs are not the best.

The album starts with a quiet intro which gets louder. The next song ‘ Ouroboros Chains is one of the songs I don’t really like. The thing is it’s too monotonous only some riffs and not really understandable screaming.  Bring the void is a little bit better, the riffs are better and the middle part is a great thing.

About the songs 4, 5, 7 and 8 I can only the same like about Ouroboros Chains. It’s death metal but too monotonous.  ‘Caustic Vertigo’ has other riffs like the songs before and it’s a really good song. Also the vocals are ok.

“Creation Continuum” is a really depressing song but one of the better moments on the album.

All in all I have to say some riffs and also the drums are good but I’m not very impressed of the vocals.

About Del Preston

So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweet shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me and Keith Moon and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweet shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shop owner and his son, that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business really. But sure enough, I got the M&Ms and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.
