Metal Blade 30th Anniversary LA Show

Metal Blade Records Teams Up with SiriusXM Liquid Metal to Celebrate the Label’s 30th Anniversary.

More events take form as Metal Blade Records continues to celebrate the label’s 30th anniversary, which already included a packed showcase at SXSW in Austin, TX and the recent announcement of the label’s Scion A/V Club showcase. Just confirmed is a show set to take place Friday, November 30 at the House of Blues in label’s hometown of Los Angeles, Calif. featuring some of the labels strongest LA based acts, ARMORED SAINT, LIZZY BORDEN, and newcomers GYPSYHAWK. Tickets go on sale this Friday (8/31) so be sure to go to grab yours before the show sells out!

SiriusXM Liquid Metal is helping the label commemorate the occasion by hosting the “Liquid Metal Blade’s 30th Anniversary Weekend,” which begins Friday, August 31st at 9am eastern and ends Tuesday, September 4th at 3am eastern. The “Liquid Metal Blade’s 30th Anniversary Weekend” will include interviews with Brian Slagel talking about everything from Cannibal Corpse appearing in the hit Hollywood film Ace Ventura: Pet Detective to meeting Lars, censorship, and staying independent. SiriusXM Liquid Metal will also be playing host to some premieres so be sure to tune in to hear brand new tracks from Satan’s Wrath, Downfall of Gaia, Over Your Threshold, Abiotic, and a cover from Detroit, MI’s Battlecross (more details coming soon).
