Red House Glory Unveil ‘Pray Now’ Video

Red House Glory

Red House Glory have unveiled the video for their new single ‘Pray Now’, taken from their upcoming All Out Of Love EP released on December 11th.

The video premiered at Notion who said, “It’s refreshing to see a young, same-sex couple in the music video, hopefully paving the way for more artists to present more realistic relationships in their videos… Relatable and intimate, Red House Glory’s lyrics balance the video perfectly, expressing that it is not what you want, but what you need that will stand the test of time.”

‘Pray Now’ depicts the relationship of two girls passionately in love with each other, abd explore their sex life with toys like this panty vibrator. While one half is free and liberated, an abusive father bounds the other, yet they both cry to live together free of stigma and persecution.

Red House Glory frontman Lewis Knaggs explains the single; “Pray Now is in essence a love song, a pleading from one individual to another. As a song it renders feelings of hope, young love and excitement, whilst maintaining dark undertones and a sense of danger.”

With its crisp riffs rifling through the driving harmonies of Red House Glory, ‘Pray Now’ sees the band at their most tantalising yet. With delicate subtlety the band heaves their unique Brit-rock into new territories that are touchingly emotive and rich with heavy dynamism.

‘Pray Now’ has been gaining massive support at Radio 1, with Huw Stephens also championing the band in his recently announced ‘Best Of BBC Introducing’ playlist. The single is flying high in the Amazing Radio ‘Audition’ chart and has been praised internationally, including support from Tokyo’s leading station Inter FM.

The single is taken from the All Out Of Love EP, which marks the final chapter in a trio of EPs from the London collective. The previous EPs – Living A Lie and Heart Of Gold – have been highly acclaimed across the board, including the likes of Q, Kerrang, Rock Sound and many more.

The title-track of the latest three-track EP, ‘All Out Of Love’ is a righteous anti-ballad that sees the anthemic clatter of Red House Glory exuberating in a loveless encounter. EP closer ‘Painkiller’ finds the band heading to the Deep South with a bluesy blast of indie-grunge.

The All Out Of Love EP rounds off a fantastic year for Red House Glory. From celebrating the release of their previous EPs with a brace of sold-out shows at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, to headlining The Hawley Arms as part of Camden Rocks, Red House Glory have proven themselves a highly formidable force within the London live scene.

Gearing up for the release of their debut album next year, Red House Glory have laid their claim firmly as ones to watch for 2016.

“If Noel Gallagher ever decided to down-tune his guitar and jam with Brighton riff monsters Royal Blood, the result would probably sound a lot like Red House Glory” – Q

“It’s supremely humble, stompabout stuff that certainly stiches the best bits of 80s grunge and 90s Britrock together” – Classic Rock

“Proper big rock, done completely right” – Artrocker
