Scythia whom unleashed their new EP ‘For The Bear’ earlier this week on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 and kicked off their cross Canada on Wednesday in Vancouver, BC, will be performing this Saturday, Sept 29th at Noctis V Metal Fest in Calgary, AB alongside Venom, Agalloch, Grand Magus, Nun Slaughter, Black Witchery, Extrementory Grindfuckers and The Order of Chaos.

Scythia’s adventurous seven track EP ‘For The Bear’ features two new originals ‘Sailor’s Accolade’ and the title track along with three remixes of ‘Fierce Riders of Scythia‘, ‘Black Death’ and ‘Dies Irae Pt. 1′ from the band’s 2010 debut ‘…Of War’ plus two Scythian adapted songs, one of Quebecois folk tune ‘Mattawa Reel’ by Robert Forest and another called ‘Video Game Medley’, which features excerpts from Wizards and Warriors 1, Castlevania, Skyrim, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy VI and Tetris.
