Stuka Squadron move to new Online Headquarters!

Stuka SquadronDue to a recent unfortunate turn of events we have been forced to change the home page address for Stuka Squadron Online Headquarters.

Now it can be found at www.stuka-squadron.com

Despite the band handling the departure of its former bass player and co-founding member with great decorum during public Stuka Squadron intelligence briefings, he has chosen to labour the point and take control of the former domain used for the band website, and begin an attempt to Trade Mark the name Stuka Squadron (in musical related endeavours) for himself, even after formally resigning via communication to the band management.

Needless to say, the Squadron (which still includes a founding member and one of the original guitarists) will be challenging this contemptuous attempt to derail them from their purpose. We were not informed that these moves were underway, but chanced upon them.

Despite his many protestations that the creation of the band was solely his responsibility, we know the truth of the matter and so do others who were present at the time. We also know the realities of why he was purged from the ranks of the
Squadron and so does he, as he actually acknowledged to us at the time. We have no wish to publicly humiliate anyone and feel that we are above the kind of slanderous remarks and personal insults that have appeared elsewhere. With an eye to the glorious future, we in the Squadron will say no more about it.

We apologise for this inconvenience to our Legionnaires and Squadroneers and the website will soon be active again complete with the Armoury and Crypt as before. The fine tuning of our new Headquarters’ design may, however, have to wait

You have proved time and time again your support of the Squadron, and you will always remain at the top of the Squadron’s priority list. We hasten to add that all Pledge information is safe and sound and the last items are being manufactured, so should be ready for despatch soon.

In the meantime thanks again to the London Metalheads who welcomed Bomber Beam into the Squadron in fine fashion. Beam of course had already stepped in at our request to not only save our brief European mission but also the recording of the ‘New Sound Of War’.

The feedback we have had in respect to his impressive bass playing skills and the difference it has made to the Squadron’s sound have brought a flicker of warmth to our undead blood. We Salute You ALL!
