Coming from South Wales, this female fronted band have only been around since 2007 but since then they have managed to have appeared on a television documentary, have their video featured on Scuzz, and rack up appearances at both the Bloodstock and Download festivals.

Featuring the vocal talents of front woman Danni Monroe, the band are instantly recognisable as much for there music as well as their looks.

Opening track “Fight” is a pumped up, energy driven, power pop punk anthem and draws comparisons to Halestorm and is sure to become a huge hit.

Next track, the previously unreleased exclusive “Crying Out for You” continues this theme not quite as catchy as Fight but it still packs the pop punk punch to make it stand out from the rest of the crowd.

The final track on this single is the stripped down piano driven live recording “This Is For You”, which is featured on the debut album due out in September, and really shows the bands versatility, not to mention singer Danni’s wonderful range of vocal skills being a mixture of both haunting, almost gothic tinged Evanescence style vocals with high notes that could shatter glasses at a thousand paces.

It goes without saying that the Highlight of this great single is the title track “Fight” and I will be very surprised if The Dirty Youth don’t erupt into the main stream soon.
