Vambo To Release New Single ‘Why Why Why’ on 15th June

Vambo release their new single  ‘Why Why Why’ on 15th June, on Goliath Records a new rock label via Universal, to celebrate their inclusion on the Stone Free Festival on 17th June.

Why Why Why musically is an ambitious, explosion of anthemic goodness, juxtaposed with some dark lyrics. Vambo‘s classy and original rock ‘n’ roll that will grip the listener from the very first hearing and simply refuse to let go.

Enigmatic front man Jack Stiles explains Why Why Why deals with a very manipulative and toxic relationship. Nothing more, nothing less.”  Watch now the striking video for Why Why Why: –

The video created a local furore with religious groups ‘We had to find some kind of structure that I could be chained to. So being the handymen that me and Pete are,we built a 12 foot cross. We did a fine job, but upon completion, we realised we had nowhere to store it before the shoot. So the only option was we to leave it on my parents front driveway for neighbours and passes by to see. Now I’m not saying they looked like they were the new church in town, or part of a religious cult, but there were people stopping, reciting the lords prayer and lighting candles. And for that week, they were the rated number one religious attraction in the Epsom area by TripAdvisor.

On 17th June Vambo join The Scorpions, Megadeth and Yes,  on The Stone Free Festival line up at the London O2 Arena and this will give the audience the  opportunity to witness live the sonic impact of their show.  Vambo know the value of a good tune and with their unique, incendiary blend of rocked out rhythms, scorching solos and lung-busting blues laden soulful vocals are always guaranteed to gain new fans.

Currently working on their debut album album and with more dates being lined up 2018 promises to be very good year for Vambo and fans of honest rock’n’roll.

Vambo are churning out crowd belters while making guitar music sexy again and they are on a mission to leave no head left unturned,

About Louise Swift

I first went to a gig in 1981, Gillan at Leeds University. I've been a regular gig goer ever since. I haven't kept count of how many gigs I've been to over the intervening years, but it's a lot! My favourite bands are AC/DC then, in no particular order, Anti-Nowhere League, Slaughter and the Dogs, Towers of London and Dirt Box Disco. I tend to like Glam/Punk and rude offensive lyrics, not sure what that says about me but as Animal would say 'So What!' The question was recently put to me - did I write for any online publications? My reply - No, but I'd like to! Planetmosh was suggested and I found myself offering to review Aces High Festival. Easy peasy I thought! Well not quite, if a jobs worth doing it's worth doing well! I had sixteen bands to research. I found I actually enjoyed that and it kept me too busy to be making lunatic comments on Facebook! ;) Then I felt a bit inadequately qualified. I mean, who am I to comment on others, when my musical expertise extends to being able to play a mean Greensleeves on the recorder and a passable Annie's song on the flute! Haven't picked up either instrument for years! What I do have, however, is over 30 years of experience as a gig goer, so I can comment on what I like and what I don't! It's only my opinion and, if I don't like a band it doesn't mean they are bad, just not to my own liking. I admire anyone who has the guts to get up on that stage and have a go!
