Hampshire, UK based metallers BURY TOMORROW will release their eagerly-anticipated new album, Runes, via Nuclear Blaston May 27, 2014 in North America. Pre-orderRuneshere via Nuclear Blast Records, and make sure to check out the exclusive North American pre-order bundle which includes a Runes t-shirt and CD (while supplies last).
With equal emphasis on heaviness and melody, BURY TOMORROW have forged a sound that is as crushing as it is catchy. In a genre full of sugar-coated, cookie cutter bands mixing singing and screaming to identical effect, BURY TOMORROW are a breath of fresh air. Their melodies are rich and soaring, guitarist Jason Cameron’s husky singing tones invoking the classic 80’s Stadium Rock vibe, whilst frontman Dani’s monstrous roars and energy coupled with the water-tight riffs of the band make for a salivating prospect.
Speaking of the upcoming opus, frontman Daniel Winter-Bates, says, “Runes is the album we have always wanted to make and we cannot wait for everyone to hear it. Progressing from (2012’s) The Union Of Crowns, we’ve tried to capture our favorite era of metalcore whilst blending the nuances of what make the genre so great today. It’s a faster, more aggressive album, but it still sounds like us, we couldn’t be prouder of it!”
A few weeks ago, BURY TOMORROW, posted the video for “Man On Fire” online following its exclusive play on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show hosted by Daniel P Carter.
