VAMPILLIA will be releasing their album Alchemic Heart courtesy of Temple of Torturous Records.
Hailing from Osaka, Japan, the twelve strong band weave together dreamlike concoctions of noise, strings, pianos, vocals and a hefty dash of sorcery on this two track album. Alchemic Heart is divided in half – Land and Sea. Aid and abetment comes in the form of Boredoms, Jarboe, and Merzbow, who each add their own unique sonic magic to proceedings.
This is the first time that Alchemic Heart will be physically available in Europe. The album was previously released in 2011 via Important Records in the USA, and will now see a world wide release via Swedish label, Temple of Torturous on September 30th. VAMPILLIA have been creating their off-beat, ethereal music since 2005 and have a significant back catalogue of albums, splits, EPs and singles under their belts. Their most recent album, Some Nightmares Take You Aurora Rainbow Darkness, was released this year via Candlelight Records.
