On their last visit, the sold out ‘Lords Of The Riff’ tour, Metal Hammer commented, “Monster Truck have quite a buzz about them, and rightly so. Undoubtedly bigger things are to come from these guys.” Powerplay agreed, boldly stating “If all their shows are like this one, world domination is just around the corner.” “The entire room seems enchanted by the Canadian quartet’s infectious, southern-fried boogie, the cool wash of Hammond keys providing pinches of Purple and dashes of Skynyrd in all the right places, ” observed Classic Rock, continuing “There’s an air of celebration to watching Monster Truck that’s not far off watching AC/DC or Clutch – it’s music that makes you want to neck beer and fist pump until someone turns up the lights and points you to the nearest bus station!”
