Stourbridge metal legends Diamond Head (pictured right, in rehearsal) have revealed that they are currently midway through writing a new album.
They hit the studio on July 6 to begin recording the, as yet untitled, album which is expected to be released later in 2015. It will be the first Diamond Head studio album for eight years, and the first to feature new vocalist Rasmus Bom Andersen, who joined the band in 2014.
Several new songs will be premiered on their upcoming dates at the end of the month:
Thursday June 25 – Chester, Live Rooms
Friday June 26 – Dublin, Fibber Magee’s
Saturday June 27 – Belfast, The Limelight 2
Sunday June 28 – Biggar, Wildfire Festival
Diamond Head also play a co-headline show with fellow NWOBHM legends Vardis at London’s Bush Hall on Saturday July 18.
