Berlin-based start-up company Staramba has made it possible:
the metal queen comes to your home as a 3D figure
Doro Pesch has played more than 2,800 concerts in more than 60 countries across four continents in her thirty year plus career – and now the metal queen comes to your home, whenever you want, wherever you want, forever.
Staramba has made this incredible feat possible. The Berlin-based start-up company offers Doro and her entire band as incredible 3D figures in different sizes. Doro and the band look incredibly realistic, this is due to the unique technology (photogrammetry scanner 3D Instagraph), which scans persons within a few seconds. Afterwards, lifelike and full-coloured figures emerge shift by shift in a highly-modern 3D printer.
The puppets made out of polymer plaster casts are the spitting image of the originals, only smaller.
“The figures are absolutely super,”
Doro states.
“It’s a really interesting experience to hold yourself in your hands suddenly. I’m sure that fans will love these new figures and they will get them for their homes.”
Next to Linkin Park and Slash, Doro is only the third rock act that Staramba has created in this form.
Doro Pesch and her band mates Johnny Dee (drums), Nick Douglas (bass), Bas Maas (guitars), Luca Princiotta (guitars) as well as Harrison Young (keyboards) are available now as a full package in the scale of 1:20 and 1:15 from the Staramba online shop (http://shop.staramba.com/).
All band members are purchasable separately for €30 – €295 in the scale of 1:20, 1:15, 1:10 and 1:7.
In just under one month’s time the metal queen can be seen live again in the UK. She will bring US rockers Archer along as special guests on this tour.

After forming the band Warlock, Doro managed to secure a record deal and tour with legends such as Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Bon Jovi, Metallica, Scorpions, Megadeth andW.A.S.P. She was the first woman to play at the Monsters Of Rock Festival and became a pioneer for the whole genre. Her solo albums carry on that spirit, not least on her 17thstudio album ‘Raise Your Fist‘ released in 2012. The following year saw the ‘Queen of Rock & Metal’ receive the ‘Legend’ Award at the Metal Hammer ‘Golden Gods’. This was followed by a celebratory show on August 2nd at Wacken Open Air in front of 80,000 fans. Last year she continued to celebrate her 30th anniversary, returning to her hometown Düsseldorf for two concerts, performing a Classic Night and a Rock’n’Roll Show with illustrious star guests.
