The most defining aspect of Wild Fire is the music itself and how they play it– nothing is held back at a Wild Fire show. Dynamic songwriting, passionate vocals, intense, technical instrumental work and memorable hooks… these are things the band’s ever-growing fan base have come to appreciate and expect. The band delivers with an untamed, unrelenting energy that commands attention and leaves their audience craving more.
Currently recognized as one of the most prominent and busiest bands from the Gulf South, Wild Firetrace their roots back to 2010 when guitarist Taylor Roberts and vocalist Zack Sawyer began to collaborate. They first made a name for themselves with underground metal fans throughout their local area, with their intense live shows and aggressive sound. The band’s reach broadened with the release of their debut album, The Untimely Death of Zack Sawyer. They began appearing at music festivals and performing alongside larger national artists throughout the greater region. Fans across the map began to take notice of this new sound from South Mississippi, and their sophomore releaseAs Hope Expires further solidified Wild Fire as a name on the national rock scene.
The single, If Anything at all, achieved regular national airplay in 2014 on dozens of traditional, internet and satellite rock radio stations including Sirius Octane. Response for the band has been strong and has enabled them to secure spots on national tours, music festivals, and has helped win them various fan-voted accolades. These include:
