Tickets are now available for Blazefest, the annual get together by the Northern Ireland rock and metal community to raise funds for the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
The sixth instalment of Blazefest, for which PlanetMosh once again is an official media partner takes place at the Empire Music Hall in Belfast on Saturday 19 March.
Six of the eight acts for this year’s shindig have been confirmed. They are Belfast hard rockers Gasoline Outlaws (for whom it will be the band’s first gig with new drummer Ryan Hood)
Londonderry symphonic metallers Selene
Dublin retro metallians Stereo Nasty
Dublin sleaze crew Stone Trigger
Italian good time boys Tequila For Breakfast and Dublin progressives The Dystopian Project
The remaining two bands will be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets cost £10 and are available from Ticketmaster, who once again have generously waived all fees and charges.
Blazefest is inspired by young Blaze Shields-Pettitt, who was born with a rare kidney condition called bilateral hydronephrosis. Blazefest is staged each year to raise money for the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, where Blaze has received his life-saving treatment.
