Ever since their formation, downcast have harvested a continuous flurry of support from many quarters. Kerrang! Radio, Rock Sound, Alternative Press, BBC Introducing and Punktastic are all long admirers of the band, and it’s easy to see why when you wrap your ears around the foursome’s hookalicious sound. Drawing warm comparisons to Neck Deep, Blink182 and The Wonder Years, downcast are in a prime position to reveal their much-anticipated debut album in 2022.
With a fresh and stellar line-up featuring: Liam Edwards (Vocals), Ben Lucas (Guitar and Backing Vocals), Jeff Bowyer (Bass), and Jamie Hill (Drums), downcast are brimming to break out to the vanguard of the UK music scene. The Brit emotional punks’ recent single, Britannia Mills , planted the tuneful titans back on the map, and further live shows have only assisted with their current ascension.
