High-flying Brit metal crew ASHEN REACH triumphantly return with their mesmerising new single and video, Lost, out now – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nI_CMh09J_Q . The band’s eagerly awaited new EP, The Fear, also arrives everywhere on Friday 22nd March.
Comprised of the cumulative talents of Kyle Martyn Stanley (Vocals), Paddy Cummins (Lead Guitar & Vocals), Jess Stanley (Drums), and Joe O’Sullivan (Rhythm Guitar), and coming at you from Liverpool, UK, ASHEN REACH were born late 2019 and swiftly burrowed themselves away to craft enough prominent material for their debut album release. The band’s much-rated debut album, Homecoming, landed at the end of 2020 and instantly shone brightly. Despite releasing a record in the midst of a global pandemic, the album still propelled the rising riff merchants to a national level and enabled the rampant four piece to play a raft of festivals including: Steelhouse, consecutive years at Planet Rockstock, and headlining the Graham Harding Stage and opening the main stage in 2022 at the event, as well as other notable festival appearances ar NWOCR LIVE, Winterstorm, Call of the Wild, Firevolt, Rockmantic, and more. Support slots with Inglorious, Stone Broken, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Myke Gray, GUN, and many more have also solidified and increased the band’s growing stock.
ASHEN REACH have always been a band that rips open the envelope and delves into unchartered terrain. Always striving to progress, the UK hard-hitters’ crafted their new EP, The Fear, in a step away from their debut album. Whilst retaining the heart of their earlier work, the band’s new material has a fresh and contemporary metal edge with even greater excitement and power. The record gleams with full-throttle riffery, pummelling drum work, hugely compelling melodies, and stadium-filling refrains. The band remark about the EP: “The Fear was written and created as a concept release highlighting different fears and phobias, and how fear can also be used as a weapon.” The foursome elaborate: “We wanted to push our sound in a heavier direction as we felt this was a more organic evolution of where we are at musically in our journey as a band. We also felt the concept of the EP was a perfect canvas for our new sonic palette.”
In anticipation of the EP, the diligent quartet recently released videos for the tracks: Ghosts and Neophobia. Both singles have not only been hotly received by existing fans, but they have captured the imagination of new followers, opening the contemporary metallers to an ever-widening audience. With a string of tours and festival appearances already in the works, ASHEN REACH are set to skyrocket in 2024!
