Welcome back Llanelli, South Wales based noisy bastards Scarlet Rebels. It seems an age since I last reviewed their album See Through Blue just over two years ago and now they treat us with a new single ‘Secret Drug’, taken from a forthcoming studio album ‘Where The Colours Meet’, due to be released via Earache Records on August 16th, 2024.
Planet Rock radio have just added ‘Secret Drug’ to their playlist, and quite rightly so due to its quality. Riffs, big fat juicy speaker rattling riffs take no prisoners as they crash and bash around a stratospheric lead vocal from frontman Wayne Doyle.
Huge choruses are mandatory to sing along to, building up to a thrilling outro of air guitar inducing solos.
