I saw Kent based noisy bastards Spreading The Disease a few months ago at a gig in Whitchurch, Shropshire, sporting a new line up following a four year break which sees them chomping at the bit to regain their fire and fury which they’ve done with ease, courtesy of new single ‘Addicted’, and there is a forthcoming EP “Purgatory Carnival” on the way!
I was converted after one playback, point proven by an overwhelming assault to the senses for four frantic minutes that rant and rage with belligerent bombast, taking no prisoners courtesy of venue shaking bass guitar grooves to shake the foundations, kick drum overload, guitars set to kill, all topped off by a lung stripping lead vocal.
