Blues sensation Will Wilde rips up the rulebook with ‘Trouble With That Girl’, third single taken from upcoming studio album ‘Blues Is Still Alive’, released via Vizz Tone Records on February 28th, 2025.
It’s a high energy track that takes a bold, contemporary twist on the traditional spiritual song ‘Trouble Of The World’. Reimagining it with Wilde’s signature harmonica playing, an electrifying guitar groove and an infectious rhythm. Will Wylde also teamed up with blues legend Walter Trout for the title of the ‘Blues Is Still Alive’ which landed in Classic Rocks TRACKS OF THE WEEK.
My take on ‘Trouble Of That Girl’ is it’s a good old fashioned boogie no more until you can’t as this rip roaring party starting and finishing pounder tears up the rule book for three throttling minutes of fury, courtesy of a watertight rhythm section that provides the palette for Will Wilde to rasp his lead vocal, matched by an over the top harmonica solo that will leave you breathless!
