Manchester, UK based hard rock/melodic band Absolva unleash ‘Find My Identity’, a new single taken from an upcoming studio album ‘Justice’ on May 16th 2025 via Rocksector Records.
To my ears it’s a full on major rager heavy metal masterpiece as it features two vocalists, Absolva lead vocalist Chris Appleton and Ronnie Romero, ex Rainbow and MSG who belt out their vocals akin to a Mexican stand off! Toe to toe their vocal styles blend well for some earworm nuances to make for an interesting listen, as well as finding time for a good old headbang that bodes well for the album!
Absolva frontman Christopher Appleton says “This is a big milestone for Absolva. We wanted to create something that reflects the growth of the band but also catches the atmosphere of the classic western movie Tombstone. Regarding guest vocalists, we’ve toyed with the idea for several years but only wanted to do it when the time was right. That time is now.”
