Symbolic Revolver is a taster from the forthcoming studio album Campaigns Of Misinformation due in 2013 from St.Austell based metallers Antari. After numerous line up changes since their formation in November 2010 they are now ready to forge ahead and judging by the anger shown on Symbolic Revolver, it would be a brave person who would stand in their way!
A chugging stoner riff intro leads into the first 2 verses, both of which feature a barked vocal delivery over mauling riffs highlighting the futility of war and the subsequent brain washing of the soldiers who are sent to fight. The 3rd verse is sung clean followed by a breakdown vocal of “Why the f**k are we at war?” over Morbid Angel style blastbeats and sweeping riffs followed by the 4th and final verse, again sung in a clean vocal. All in all an impressive introduction to Antari for me!
