Armored Saint debuts ‘Mess’ from ‘Win Hands Down’

Los Angeles, California’s Armored Saint are set to release their seventh studio album this summer. The album ‘Win Hands Down’ is all things Armored, a vintage crush of classic power propelled by a cathartic blast of life in the year 2015. The album is scheduled for release on May 29th in Europe.

Armored Saint has partnered up with Rock Hard Germany for exclusive debut of their brand new track, ‘Mess.’  Check it out HERE.

John Bush (vocals) states: “Powerful music required some powerful lyrics. It was made clear by the chanting sounds of the tribal groups at the beginning of the song all the way to the frantic chorus. It sounded like chaos. Possibly the heaviest song Armored Saint has ever written.

I continue to marvel at the amount of garbage that’s created on our planet. Whether it’s food or other disposable items. We could blame groups like Monsanto and that would certainly be valid, but it all comes back to personal accountability. We could all do better. Waste dirty’s up our beautiful cities and planet. We’re consuming maniacs. All you can eat buffets offered to a third of Americans who are obese doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. That is unless were trying to kill ourselves. What a mess.

A brand new video for the title track was recently shot by director Andrew Nethery, and is available for streaming now at metalblade.com/armoredsaint, where album pre-order bundles are also ready for order. Including CD, ltd. CD+DVD, ltd. vinyl and special box set featuring customized poker set. Additionally, a behind the scenes video from the photo shoot for the “Win Hands Down” album cover is on youtube now:

About Louise Swift

I first went to a gig in 1981, Gillan at Leeds University. I've been a regular gig goer ever since. I haven't kept count of how many gigs I've been to over the intervening years, but it's a lot! My favourite bands are AC/DC then, in no particular order, Anti-Nowhere League, Slaughter and the Dogs, Towers of London and Dirt Box Disco. I tend to like Glam/Punk and rude offensive lyrics, not sure what that says about me but as Animal would say 'So What!' The question was recently put to me - did I write for any online publications? My reply - No, but I'd like to! Planetmosh was suggested and I found myself offering to review Aces High Festival. Easy peasy I thought! Well not quite, if a jobs worth doing it's worth doing well! I had sixteen bands to research. I found I actually enjoyed that and it kept me too busy to be making lunatic comments on Facebook! ;) Then I felt a bit inadequately qualified. I mean, who am I to comment on others, when my musical expertise extends to being able to play a mean Greensleeves on the recorder and a passable Annie's song on the flute! Haven't picked up either instrument for years! What I do have, however, is over 30 years of experience as a gig goer, so I can comment on what I like and what I don't! It's only my opinion and, if I don't like a band it doesn't mean they are bad, just not to my own liking. I admire anyone who has the guts to get up on that stage and have a go!
