Summary:

Filthy fierce death metal from San Diego. Envelop yourself in the pandemonium.

Ascendeascended dead_coverd Dead hail from San Diego and present a four track 7” ep full of death metal violence. This is not your ultra modern produced and tweaked to within an inch of its life death metal, this is raw chaos. This is the second release by the band and first on vinyl. Title track “Arcane Malevolence” spews forth with the caustic spite of Sarcofago, Possessed and early Sodom; mid track there is slight pause before another barrage of blasts and tortured guitar solos all aided with some of the most blood curdling vocals of recent times. “Blood Consecration” slows the pace down and nods heavily towards early Morbid Angel with a melody poking through the murk and multi layered growls and screams before descending back into the pandemonium of bleak roaring hate. Production is minimal and really needs your full attention to  appreciate what this band is offering. Thoroughly fierce, filthy death metal the way the ancient ones intended.
