Summary:

You would be an April fool if you don't buy the new four track self titled EP on April 28th that includes new single 'Chains'.

Stoke-On-Trent based ear bruisers Black Coast return with a bang as latest single ‘Chains’ bangs the head that does not bang! As per usual their songs always contain a message, point proven by a clarion call of ‘Chains’ being “About escaping everything, getting away and feeling like the weight of what life does to you is forgotten, no one trying to use you, no one judging you for your past. You can try to find a way to feel alive again!”. It’s the second single taken from a forthcoming self titled four track EP released on April 28th, promoting it with a headlining April four date tour that includes a homecoming gig at the Underground in Stoke on April 29th.

Musically it’s a gruelling grind that frees itself from the shackles for an utterly compelling three threatening minutes of black hearted riffing, cold blooded cathartic vocals all locked down by a rhythm section of bass bombast and inventive drum patterns and I’m sure this song will open pits up when the band play on The Sophie Lancaster Stage at Bloodstock Open Air Festival this August coming!
