Black Coast – Mental (single)

Normally November is a nondescript month but fear not for 2021 as Stoke On Trent nutters Black Coast release another single ‘Mental’ from their forthcoming studio album Outworld on the 19th. An added bonus is the album launch at The Underground in Stoke the same day.

The song certainly lives up to its title as monolithic bass guitar bludgeon and jabbing guitar lines in the opening chorus light the fuse for a Ministry tinged wall of industrial battery backed by a vocal tour de force. A terrifyingly almost spoken word midsection is as deranged as the accompanying video as its very very claustrophobic!
