Birmingham based Blood Dealer hail from the home of heavy metal, point proven by ‘Jealousy’, a new single taken from their upcoming EP release, Designer Antichrist on May 30th, 2025.
A suffocating intro of a black hearted loop, a whispered vocal that gives it an early edge is the calm before the storm of a serrated main riff that forges towards melodic choruses that also pack a downtuned punch. A skitty midsection adds more ire, as a cataclysmic piece closes this highly impressive song on an armageddon inducing outro. Job done!
“Jealousy is about self-comparison, always trying to measure yourself against other people’s success and letting that take control of who you are. We wanted to showcase to our fans what Blood Dealer is all about sound wise, this song symbolises a new phase for us sonically so we’re super excited for everybody to hear it,” says vocalist Billy Douglas.
Bringing a visceral energy, ‘Jealousy’ explores the consuming nature of envy, weaving intricate grooves with unrelenting breakdowns.
