Few would dispute that Bowling For Soup are one of the all time great “singalong” bands. Most people who go to a Bowling For Soup show know almost all, if not every line of every song, and the whole thing turns into one great karaoke session with Jaret, Chris, Gary and Erik as the house band.
Now, as part of the celebrations for Bowling For Soup’s return to the UK next year on the How About Another Round Tour, the expression Bowling For Soup Karaoke is going to take on a whole new meaning. Bowling For Soup are delighted to invite YOU, their fans, to take part in the first official Bowling For Soup Online Karaoke Contest. Sing your favourite Bowling For Soup song for a chance to win some fantastic BFS related prizes!
So, what do you need to do? Here’s Jaret to explain all….

1. Set your camera up and press record as you sing along to a BFS song of your choice.
(You can either sing along karaoke style or lip sync.)
2. Make it fun! Use props if you want to.
3. Download THIS SHORT VIDEO and add it to the end of your video.
4. Upload your video to YouTube with the title “BFS Karaoke – [insert song title] by [insert your name]”.
(Be sure to use the following Tags: BFSkaraoke, Bowling For Soup, Karaoke, BowlingForSoup)
5. Don’t forget to post it on Twitter too! Include @bfsrocks, #BFSkaraoke, and your YouTube link.

To further the the build up to the UK tour even more, Bowling For Soup will be releasing some brand new lyric videos for some of songs from their acclaimed Greatest Hits album “Songs People Actually Liked – Volume One – The First Ten Yeas 1994 to 2003”. These videos were created by some of the band’s most hardcore fans during the PledgeMusic campaign for the Greatest Hits album. The first song to get this treatment is Cody, and the lyric video for Cody can be found below:
Bowling For Soup return to the UK during the first half of February for their huge How About Another Round Tour. The Dollyrots and Lacey will provide the support, while MC Lars will be compere for the evening and also perform, opening the show every night.
