Breaking Bands Festival update

With just 19 weeks to go until the start of the inaugural Breaking Bands Festival its all getting very busy behind the scenes.
Promotions manager for the festival Allen Edwards says how exciting it is that at the start of 2015 there is already 30% tickets sold for the weekend in May.
The festival takes place at the centrally located Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire on the bank holiday weekend of 22-24th May 2015.
The day splits have already been announced with day tickets now on sale as well as weekend tickets which include the VIP Friday night and camping for all 3 days.
Voodoo Vegas, a rock band from Brighton are the special guest band for Friday night, not long returned from their gig sharing the stage with Status Quo on a recent European tour. The other bands on Friday are local punk band Thirteen Shots, Midlands based Martyr De Mona and sub headliners The Heretic Order.
Saturday and Sunday see’s a whole host of rock, punk and metal acts on The Session Studio’s Main Stage as well as the Get Your Rock Out Acoustic stage.
Saturday NWOBHM act Monument will see the night out in style with their warm up act being London based rock band Death Valley Knights.
On Sunday the latter part of the day goes heavier with Morgue Orgy confirmed as the sub-headline band warming up the final act of the weekend Breed 77 who have already announced that the Breaking Bands Festival is their only gig of 2015 as they are locked out in the studio working on a new album.
Not only do we have great support from get Your Rock Out as our main media partners and acoustic stage sponsors but we are extremely excited to announce that Planet Mosh and Rock Radio UK have come on board as media partners too. This gives the bands so much more exposure as our media partners will be running promotion on the bands, interviews, airplay and more. The festival is about bringing the music community together and what better than well respected media partners.

We can also announce that Badaxe and Ross Lee will be doing some comedy on the Sessions Studio Main Stage over the weekend. Badaxe is known for his rather running take on the latest news with his own brand of comedy about anything that is going on. He also has a lot of fun with his bed of nails sketch. Ross Lee is a guy some may know as The Pranker back in the day. He will be live on stage with some of his new sketches (watch out for him on Keith Lemon’s new TV show).
We also have the fantastic Moomin Merchandise supplying us with some very amazing laser artwork for sale. They will be sponsoring the raffles we have over the weekend that will be free for all ticket holders so a chance to win something for nothing!
Tickets for the festival are on sale via the main website www.breakingbandsfestival.com with day
tickets for Saturday and Sunday priced at £12.50 each and weekend tickets that include camping and the VIP Friday night priced at just £25. All under 14’s get in all weekend free with paying adults.
On site there is proper brick toilets and showers, trade stalls and real ales as well as top quality hot and cold food all weekend including breakfasts!
