From the ashes of Obey come the firestorm of Collapser from Stoke-On-Trent. Citing their influences as Pantera, Gojira, Mastodon and American Head Charge as they release their debut single ‘Planet Opioid’.
Of course their are still elements of Obey in there which keeps me happy but Collapser are a heavier animal as they unleash bowel bruising, ear clubbing, nostril gnarling, teeth grinding, hair raising riff after riff after motherfu**ing riff of heavy metal at its tectonic plate shifting best, backed the gravelly growled vocals of Steve Pickin until it ends on a staccato riffed roar! Very impressive to say the least!
