Convincing Clearity – Post-Bloodstock interview

convincing clearityWhile we spoke to a lot of bands both signed and unsigned at Bloodstock, we were unable to manage to speak to all the up and coming  bands who played the New Blood stage, so have been catching up with the ones we missed to see how they enjoyed their Bloodstock experience

Can you give the readers a quick introduction to the band.

We’re a Metal band from Stavanger, Norway. Started out in 2012 with a couple of guys with common goals and interests, and that includes making kick-ass metal.

How would you describe your sound.

It’s a sound influenced by multiple genres, since we all have different music tastes. That leaves us with a fast and angry sound with dropdowns around every corner.

What has been the bands biggest achievement so far?

Playing on Bloodstock!

Why did you want to become part of the New Blood Stage line up?

Who wouldn’t? Playing on a huge festival is like a dream come true.

What was your initial reaction when you found out you were playing on the New Blood Stage?

We screamed like teenage girls whilst passing hugs and head-butts.

How did you feel your set went?

Although we lack stage experience we performed to the best of our abilities. We’re all happy with how things went down.

How did you enjoy your Bloodstock experience? Any particular highlights?

Loved it, getting drunk and listen to metal is what it’s all about. A particular moment that stands out was when we walked around the festival before it was opened to the public.

Did you get to watch many bands?  If so who did you enjoy seeing?

We watched and met a lot of cool bands! Some of our favorties are ZeroZonic, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Angerman, Sister Sin, Children of Bodom.

Can you sum up Bloodstock in one sentence?

No!

Any message you wish to pass on to the PM readers

Metal up your ass!
