Reunited UK hardcore legends Stampin’ Ground are the latest act announced the play the tenth Damnation Festival.
The group – who literally destroyed the Terrorizer Stage in 2006 – complete a stunning Jagermeister Stage bill which includes Bolt Thrower, Saint Vitus, Orange Goblin, Raging Speedhorn and October File.
Elsewhere on the eclectic bill, Leeds doom outfit Black Moth Swedish death metal purveyors Aeon and Spanish experimental post-metal quintet Obsidian Kingdom have been added.
Stampin’ Ground frontman, Adam Frakes-Sime said: “The penultimate Stampin’Ground show eight years ago was at Damnation ‘06 and it still stands as one of the craziest shows we’ve played. “We can’t promise we’ll break the stage again this year but I can promise plenty of good friendly, violent fun!”
Announced so far for Damanation Festival, which will take place at Leeds University Union, on Saturday, November 1 are: Bolt Thrower, Cannibal Corpse, Saint Vitus, Raging Speedhorn, Orange Goblin, Anaal Nathrakh, Stampin’ Ground, Ahab, Revocation, Solstafir, Winterfylleth, Aeon, Black Moth, H A R K, October File, Bast, Atlantis, Obsidian Kingdom and Corrupt Moral Altar, with more bands to be announced across four stages.
