Joining forces seven years ago in Bordeaux, South France, the three gifted musicians in DÄTCHA MANDALA confidently set their instruments ablaze to create a rock formula that was directly inspired by 70s heavy blues, also tinged with mystical, psychedelic and at times Middle-Eastern vibes. Since they first set foot on a stage, the trio has played alongside fantastic live aacts such as The Bellrays, Radio Moscow, The Datsuns, Mars Red Sky, DeWolff, Angelo Moore, Samsara Blues Experiment, Shaka Ponk, The Cosmic Dead, Bob Wayne, The Dictators… for more than 300 gigs in France and Europe. To follow up with their 2011 debut “Eden Sensuality” and 2014 EP “Dätcha Mandala”, the band is now set to offer new sounds in the form of a 7″ EP entitled “Anâhata”, out September 22nd on MRS Red Sound.
