The Dear Hunter premiere new music video for ‘Gloria’

Today, The Dear Hunter premiered a brand new music video for ‘Gloria’ the latest single from their recently released album ‘Act V: Hymns with the Devil in Confessional’The video is presented as a short film by Silent Flight and is directed by Erez Bader. The video for ‘Gloria’ is the first official music video from Act V and is available to watch now on The Dear Hunter’s channel.

When asked about the collaboration Bader said, “For as long as I can remember it has been my biggest dream to bring The Dear Hunter’s concept of The Acts to life. I feel as if every obstacle that I’ve ever had to overcome in my life, film-related or not, has led me to this project. I’m honoured that the band and management put their faith in our incredibly bonkers script for Gloria, I’m sure it was quite staggering to be handed a full-on short film screenplay as a music video treatment.” He continued, “music videos are one of the last bastions for experimental filmmaking and it’s a shame that doing an ambitious project like this is mostly unheard of nowadays. I very much hope that this project inspires other filmmakers and musicians to collaborate on a large scale more frequently.”

The Dear Hunter’s seventh full-length album ‘Act V: Hymns with the Devil in Confessional’ is available now on Rude Records. To date Act V has received notable Billboard Chart placements including: No. 6 Independent Album, No. 9 Alternative Album, No. 11 Rock Album, No. 12 Digital Album, No. 28 Physical Album, No. 18 Top Current Album, and No. 48 on Top 200 Albums. The release of Act V comes a year after Act IV: Rebirth In Reprise and will be the final “rock” record in the six-part Act series. The album is available now HERE and on TheDearHunter.com. The band previously released two lyric videos for ‘The Revival‘ and ‘Light‘.
