To be released mid/end of January 2015 and to be included on their full length debut album The Road Ahead at the end of March, ‘Bad Blood’ is probably the heaviest song I’ve heard from Defy All Reason but has enough hooks to make it widely accessible. It rolls along on a lumbering stoner rock main riff with some neat touches from the second guitar. It’s verses and catchy but muscular chorus are delivered with a gritty vocal from Gavin Jones seal the deal on another strong song from the North Wales based metallers.
Next gig where they will play it live will be on a 5 band bill supporting Vardis at the Unity Halls in Wakefield this Saturday on December 13th.
