Summary:

It's a fantastic EP - the music is beautiful, the vocals are great, and the lyrics are well written

Dig Deeper are a rock band from Norway.  They released their debut album in 2012 following it up with a second album in 2015, and now in 2017 they’re releasing a new EP, “Stars tonight”.

There’s a definite psychedelic feel to the music, and when you throw in the vocals the overall effect is a slightly psychedelic version of Neil Young.  The EP is based around the idea of a man trying to make it in todays Europe while the band’s home country has become more closed to immigration.  The political subject matter therefore also ties in well with that Neil Young influence.

It’s a fantastic EP – the music is beautiful, the vocals are great, and the lyrics are well written.  Definitely well worth checking out, particularly if you’re a Neil Young fan.
