Not content with just finishing UK dates supporting Robert Jon & The Wreck and his own headline dates, Eddie 9V is about to add more dates for an extensive US tour in 2025, but before this he leaves us with ‘Love Moves Slow’, a track taken from a recently released studio album Saratoga, via Ruf Records.
The Atlanta based American guitarist, at only fifteen years old paved his way to the roots and blues club circuit of his native, Atlanta, Georgia. It’s certainly paid off, point proven by the strength of this single.
The song has a sassy and classy lead vocal from Eddie 9V that adds lashings of sweet soul. Booming bass lines add a thick groove for four freak out minutes of swirling keyboards, gentle guitar lines and doo wop like backing vocals. A beautiful song that takes all the well deserved plaudits!
